I might have found a roller bearing to replace the plastic ones that are from Hauck. Would this be a good idea using a hard bearing surface with the aluminum helix? Size is a little bit smaller width wise. Hauck is about 11 MM VS bearing 6 MM. Would have to double up on roller if there is enough room. Or spend the money for the replacement kit from hauck?

i dont think there would be a problem with metal on aluminum just because of the fact that the rollers will be rolling along it. The bearing size though sounds a little weird though. I think that is going to make that roller act a little different going with a different diameter roller then the original ones.

mis read it lol sorry about that. Diamtere is what you are talking about then i wouldn't see a problem with doubling up on it. I say try and report back. AS long as the bearings are contacting properly i dont see a problem with it
