Hello everyone. I just joined the forum cause I bought a 95 vmax in pretty good shape just needs some maintainence. I know sliders are easy but there is no good way to get to the screw off that holds the sliders on. Its a nut that the slider is blocking to get it off. No head on the bottom to use anything. Can anyone help me out?

Thats weird...it should just be a phillips head screw. can you post a picture of it?

Are you sure there isn't a small screw way up at the tip of the slide?

There's gotta be access from the bottom through a track window once you lift the sled up and get the track off the ground.

x2. Lift it up or tip on its side to get a look at the slide from underneath.
you can dremmel the nut off and replace the nut and screw. looks like the set up they used to have on the steel/alumnium rails on the enticers.
