Guys I posted this on Doo Talk and nobody has responded. I had to replace a plug wire on a 08 XP TNT and The replacement plug wire I got for the machine has a copper insert in the wire. I pushed the wire into the coil assembly to see if it fit and it didn't seem to insert into the coil the same distance as the original wire. Upon removal the copper sleeve pulled out of the plug wire. My question does anyone know if I ruined the new wire? Or is this meant to come out or did I get the wrong wire. Did you check your other wire you replaced and see if that one pulled out easy? And is that a OEM replacement wire?

The other wire does not have the insert at all....the new wire was listed as OEM but purchased it off ebay so questionable??
You could also ask a Skidoo dealer about the wire as well. Could be a updated wire?
