Bottom end assembly ? on 700.

Getting ready to assemble my 700 bottom end. Do I seal the c clips groves and seal where they lay in the crank case or just the 2 flat surfaces of crank case halfs them self.

just the case half's is all you need to do, the seals are crushed fit in the grooves.

Do the c clips need to be at a certain spot?
