Quick bogie wheel question

I know the 4 wheels on the outside roughly in the middle can be switched to the Polaris 5.35 and still use the 6205 bearing to reduce the hyfax wear. My question is regarding the two bogies that sit inside or between the rails. Can those be resized to reduce rolling resistance? I poached this picture while searching the forum for an answer... Unfortunately my skid frame looks nothing like this one.

Yes. You will just need to press them off the shaft after pressing off the old ones. You will need the C - clip tool before pressing
 
They really are stuck on that shaft. I was using a bearing puller, no luck yet though. What size wheel should I go to?
 
If they use the same bearing you should be able to just change the wheel and leave the other bearing on the shaft if its good right?
 
I was able to pull out the snap rings and remove the wheel off the bearing. The problem is that the bearings are still stuck on the shaft, I have them drenched in penetrating oil currently.
The bearings have a good thousand or more KM on them. I would rather replace them and know they are good verses repacking and leaving them on.

As for the inside wheels, I could go with a bit bigger diameter, say 135mm which would be 5mm larger than what is on there now. Or should I match the inside bogies with the 4 outer bogie wheel diameters which I will be upgrading to the 5.35" size. I know metric and imperial ... hassle.

all 6 of the wheels should be changed to the same diameter so the track rides on a even plane.

add: if you have the bearings stuck on the shaft and you have no access to a hyd.press, then open up your bench vise, and rest the bearing on the top with the shaft dropping down between the jaws. Strike the end of the shaft straight down with a plastic dead blow hammer so you wont mess up the threaded end. Once the snap rins are off the shaft they should come right off,you can even heat up the bearing race if they are corroded on real bad.

X2. I remove the wheels from the bearings and use a 2x4 over the end of the shaft and bang away with a sledge hammer. They will come! I have done this change to my wifes viper and it has worked well.
 
Bearings were soaked in penetrating lube for the last few days. Put them between the vise loosely and hit the top with a rubber mallet, boom, off they came within 10 smacks. The vice technique worked like a charm.

6 - 5.35" bogie wheels are in transit.
1 new stator received
New pull cord purchased
Discovered recoil bushing is completely worn away, literally thinner than a piece of paper. Not certain what to do about this yet.
Just need the marginal snow wheel kit and I'm ready for the snow....
