I see A LOT of guys swearing by Legend oil over on HCS. Can't seem to find much on here about it. Anyone use it? What's the best oil to run in a power valve motor?
That's a really loaded question there.There's been a lot of threads about oil on this board and and for every one of them there's probably 10 different brands of oil mentioned as THE one to use.The most popular oil for powervalved engines seems to be Amsoil Interceptor,it's a synthetic oil developed for the modern 2 cycle engines with exhaust port modifiers,aka powervalves.That's not to say that guys have not had good luck with regular oil or other synthetics,most modern oils I believe are designed to protect your engine,some better than others.
If you find an oil that burns clean and doesn't gum up the valves and is affordable use it,it's your engine and your choice.
