hey guys, I seem to be having a hard time finding a shop manual or even a n owners manual for my sxr. anybody on here know where I can get one or download one? also, I just replaced the driveshaft and jack shaft bearings on the sled but since I don't have a manual im not sure how much oil I need in the chaincase. anybody know how much I should use? it has reverse. im also curious about this on off switch attached to my air box it has a hose coming from the head of the engine to the switch then from the switch to the carbs. I can only assume its for the carb heating.

You are correct on the valve function. I usually just fill the chain case until lit reads full on the dipstick. Usually less than 1/3 of a liter but I have many chain cases to fill.

If you're still looking for the manuals, let me know and I'll figure out a way to get you a PDF of the Service Manual. I haven't yet found an electronic copy of the owners manual.
