I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Star Suspension upgrades for the 01 SRX700. Looking at improving my ride but keeping the sled geometry close to stock.

I've been wanting to try them for a while now. All the reviews I've heard from them were excellent. They have a nice website if you're able to read french. I think I will give them a try this year!

I think I'm going to give them a call this week and send my shocks out. I am going to install a new track also 1.325 cobra I think.

The 4 stroke guys swear by them on their nytros and phazers. They seem to be good with yamahas in general.

Thanks. I really like my SRX but it needs to be rideable. I love having a project to work on and love tuning, and these machines move. I hate to get rid of it because of a poorly valved suspension.

If the ride is real stiff make sure the rear shock is not in the lower notch on the front mount. This is the stiffest setting. The highest is the softest. I believe they came from factory in middle setting. (Im assuming you havent already done this) revalving is still the way to go though.

This has been already done. From what I have read one of the issues with this sled is the rebound. Once the suspension compresses it does not come out fast enough to absorb the next bump or bumps. I am sure there are other issues with it also.
