1980 SRX 440 carbs

My buddy has a 1980 SRX 440 with the butterfly carbs and we want to switch them to the 1979 round slide carbs. What do we need to do to make them work I noticed a trigger cable for the oil pump how to we make that work???? Let me know.. Thank you

Using an oil pump cable, throttle cable, and throttle block and lever from a Vmax 540 or Exciter 570 might do the trick.
