Just picked up an 01 700 SXR, the stock track has lost some lugs and more coming off, looking at putting a cobra track on, is anyone running this track and if so what clutching are you running? Looking for a somewhat aggressive trail setup, but nothing too crazy.

Thanks
Steve

Here is a set-up from the TECH pages. 14.5 mm rollers as well.

51/43 Helix, stock weights w/4.5g rivet in 1st hole and 3.1g in tip, 2-3 engagement shims, stock springs, 1 or 2 layers removed from head gasket and 22/40 gearing. Jetting: 142.5 mains

Just personally, an RX1 helix would be just the ticket for that SX7r. They are 51/43s but actually measure out @ 48/42 or 3. One layer of head gasket removed and 21/40 gears. My reasoning for those gears is that you'll be in the powder as well. Stick with the weights and rivets suggested. Jetting is fat from the factory so that is why the 142.5 we're suggested. Brand new springs works wonders on their own.
