Another season is apon us, Went to clean carbs today, the air box bolt at the top which goes into the cross member into the brass or copper threaded insert spun 
Any ideas? Cut the top of the bolt head off with a mini zip or hacksaw, then what?

Before cutting the bolt head off, try wedging something between the bolt washer and the airbox tab, or between the airbox tab and the tube cross member. The "wedge" can be a screwdriver, thick putty knife, forked trim/clip removal too, etc., and what you want to do is put upward pressure on the bolt, which also puts pressure on the threaded insert up against the cross member tube. You may get lucky enough that the pressure holds the insert in place enough to get the bolt out.
No guarantees that it will work, but it's easy to try. It did work on one Viper for me, and I then tried to "stake" the insert in place on the cross member tube, and just didn't tighten the bolt too much upon reassembly.
