temp guage on 2000 srx

Hi all.
I may install a short sweep, 2 1/16" Auto meter temp guage on my 2000 SRX. I want to install this beside the Tach on the dash. Is there enough clearance to install this meter as the dash tapers. I don't want to cut the hole and find out this wont fit.
