I read an older post about recoil cords an one of the replys suggested using paracord for it's increased strength.I was looking over what's available for paracord and want to know about it's strength. From the listings it says it has a strength rating of 550lbs,now is this the breaking strength of it?And if so how does this compare to the stock cord? Also what diametres does this cord come in? I'd like to get a cord small enough to get enough of it on the recoil disc so it won't be too short.

I used paracord on an engine this summer, didn't like it a bit it seemed like stretched.

I just got the Kevlar stuff. I'm quite sure it'll be the last stuff I buy for this sled. It's smaller as well so a sh!t load can be wound up.
