For those of us with trucks and trailers I don't need to tell you how big a pain it can be to pin up by yourself. How many times have you had the telltale clunk from backing up too far and the trailer hitch hitting the bumper?
Well a couple of years ago I decided to try out a camera system to help me in this area. I bought a YADA unit that was on sale at Canadian Tire. Hookup was pretty straight forward and everything was great,for about 6 or 7 months then the camera went all funky on me. So rather than throw the monitor and stuff away I checked around for another camera,and patience paid off because I found one on eBay for $10. Hooked that one up and it only lasted about 4 months or so.
Long story don't buy Yada backup camera systems.
So are there any other people that use one ? What brand do you have and have you had good luck with it? I really miss mine,it helps even just backing into a parking spot at a mall. I'm going to by another one sooner or later but I'd like to know what will last longer than 6 or 7 months.
