After riding today in some deep stuff, its obvious that I need an exhaust/snow deflector for the ole SRX. Anyone install/build anything for an srx? I did some searching and it looks like yamaha makes a deflector, but it doesnt fit the srx belly.

i think the guys where modding the mountain max one back in the day onto their srx's if they had a problem.

yamaha part # 8EN-2194H-00-00 is what you want. pull the silencer and use 3/16 fender washers on the inside of the bellypan along with your rivets and you will be dialed.
Are you sure they will work on a srx? I thought that was for a flat bottom belly pan. .. srx has a small build it deflector.
A couple of bucks

DIY.....get a round(ish) electrical box cover. The ones that are 4-5 inches across. Put in vice and put appropriate bend in it.

yes it fits, i have done at least four srx's this way. no, its not a direct fit but once you have one in your hands you will see how easy it rivets on. perhaps a little massaging of the deflector but the end result is a good look and fit.
the mtn viper one doesnt need the backer like the mtn max does, thats why i gave you that part number. i had better results with the viper style.
