How can you bypass the water temp sensor I welded my cooling rail shut for racing and am sick of looking at the light flashing on my gauge
Any help is appreciated

Take an ohm metre and check the resistance of the temp sensor then get a resistor of the same value and plug an end into each side of the temp sensor plug, that should fool the cdi into thinking the sensor is still in the circuit.

I just checked my pdf manual and found the values for the temp sensor.
Water temperature sensor resistance:
2.21 ~ 2.70 kW at 20°C (68°F)
1.03 ~ 1.26 kW at 40°C (104°F)
0.52 ~ 0.65 kW at 60°C (140°F)
0.29 ~ 0.35 kW at 80°C (176°F)
0.17 ~ 0.21 kW at 100°C (212°F)
That should help you out.
