Need a memory refresh...
More tip weight on the H/C's will raise the WOT rpm's correct?
Currently running 4.2g on the tips and it is only hitting 82~8300 on top r's.
Is there any general figure to go by as to a increase in tip weight to rpm increase ? Ex. .2g = 100 rpm increase ?
I'm targeting 8500 as my goal rpm.
Thanks.

lighten to increase rpms, add weight to decrease rpms. 1 grams per 1-200 rpms. ski

ski is right,
less weight = more rpm
0.5g = aprox. 500rpm, or 0.1g = aprox 100 rpm either way.

A 1/2 of a gram (0.5) is NOT going to raise or lower your rpm 500 rpm and a tenth of a gram (0.1) is NOT going to raise or lower your rpm 100 rpm. Usually 1 gram taken off will raise your rpm 100-200 rpm depending on conditions and 1 gram added will drop the rpm 100-200 rpm.
On the heel clickers remember it's not just the tip weight that affects the top end rpm. The heel weight will also affect the top end, but only slightly in relevance to the tip weight. I would suggest removing 1 gram of tip weight to get you close to 8500 rpm.
