Have you something to say about these pipes Don? My other option is to get just a can or a set of viper bender pipes and cut/weld on srx mainfolds. These pipes are made for 8700-8800 rpm

I would keep the stock pipes as they make more power and are more consistant then those Aaens, if you want to install electric start then move the battery over to the left front. Use a gel battery and make your battery cables fit, youll be closer to the starter motor anyways.

When I contacted Aaen they said the sled should rev around the 8300 mark. As far as I was told the pipe makes more power in the mid range since no one can make more max rpm power then the stock yamaha pipes. I threw Aaen trail pipes and vforce 3 reeds on my 700 srx and I was amazed at my improved mid range power. It put a smile on my face it was so noticeable.
I think people are expecting improvement in the higher rpm which I do not believe that the pipes are designed for.
And the sound is awesome. I am voted second best sounding sled besides a turbo Nitro and it was close.

Weight loss is 25lbs which is good on that front heavy beast.
