Went to change the inner river in the primary clutch, expecting there to be a 3.6 in there.... But there was nothing. Every thing else is stock, why would some one be ridding with no inner rivet?

the engine cant pull the weight maybe?
they may of went to a softer compound belt! and to prevent an under rev, took the rivets out

It had an 8dn on it! There was only a rivet in the tip.... Is there any way to tell what rivet is in there? My thinking is some thing else must of been changed to accommodate this right? I recently did a common redhead clutch set up (4.5 heel,3.6tip, 51/43 helix) based off of stock form.... But now I have no idea where it's at and don't know what else could of been changed from stock

I would think that would cause it to over rev, but I rode the sled for 2 years like this and it never did.

look at the weight charts. That will tell you what your weights weight. take that total - your total and that is the difference. From there you should be able to tell what is in there and what is missing. I believe they have pics of the rivets in there as well. Color and size will tell you what is in there now.

The sled seemed to operate fine, and I find that hard to believe. I would think missing a weight rivet would cause some bad performance.

Okay so I think its got the stock 3.6g rivet in the tip by looking at the color and head shape, And it's got the stock weights in it. But still, that missing heel rivet is worrying me.

look under the tuning charts and see if you find your setup there. Might be so it shifts out faster? Again not an expert so if I'm wrong someone will chime in.

It's got 8df-10s in it. When I opened it up it had a 3.6 in the tip and nothing in the heal. Here's a bit of an explanation on what I did with the clutching and why I'm in such a fit lol. On another thread,"getting her dialed in" I went with a setup recommended by someone(51/43 helix with a green spring wrapped at 70, 3.6 tip and 4.5 heal in the stock weights, stock spring and 21/39 gearing) now this setup was based off a stock sled. For the sled to run without that heal rivet wouldn't something else have to be changed to allow the sled to run like this? Thus making it not stock and messing up the set up I just did?

I'd ride it before I did anything just to see what's what.

Well it seemed alright when I rode it down my street last night. No traction though so I can't tell.
