'04 SX Venom smoking

My wife's '04 SX Venom is billowing white/grey smoke. I'm not a mechanic but have tinked around with a few sleds but don't attempt anything major. I was looking to get some feedback as to possible issues before I took it in to the shop. Any suggestions? Thanks

Exactly x2. Did you summerize the sled? What is the temp. outside? How's the coolant level?

This is the first time it was started. It was in a insulated garage so temp was probably 50. I'm out of town but I believe the coolant is low.

pipe is most likely full of moisture. need to get hot.

Did it smell like plain old two stroke smoke. Or was there a slight sweet smell to it.
A sweet smell indicates coolant. Probably a nick in the head gasket. Fluctuating temps in the garage might have caused coolant to weep through the H/G. Forcing coolant into to combustion chamber all summer long. This one is a R&R H/G.
Plain old two stroke smoke on first start-up of the year might be a weak seal in the oil portion of the fuel pump. Forcing 2 stroke oil into to combustion chamber all summer long.This one is a rebuild the fuel pump or R&R the pump w/ a NEW one. Used ones can have the same problem.
