Hey guys,
In prepping my sled I checked my offset (I have an alignment tool) and the rear of the secondary is in line but the front of it is about 2-3mm out. I installed a dogbone last season and while the bolts for the bracket slid in with no resistance should I have aligned it a little better ...... My question is, With the dogbone installed is there a little bit of wiggle room to move the motor around? Or is it so positively locked in place that that's the way it is no matter what?

you dont tighten the bolts down on either the motor mounts or the dogbone assembly until its aligned right, theres a little bit of play with the dogbone, you can either move the bracket at the frame behind sec. clutch or even file out the motor mount front holes usually to get it perfect.

they are stock on srx engines but for some reason did not come on sx vipers. People install them on sx vipers to solve the engine mount issues because they work and they are a pretty cheap mod.

Like a torque limited?
yes, its a torq. limiter, it keeps the engine from moving under accelaration and making your clutchs not aligned due to the flex in the motor mounts. You can use the stock srx 600/700 dog bone set up on a viper and then use the srx alignment and offset specs, your belt will last alot longer after you install one.

Ya ya actually I have one just never heard it called a dogbone! Ha!
