1984 Phazer power issue

Hey Guys,

I just got a 1984 Phaser. We just cleaned the carbs and put all new gaskets in it. We also just put new fuel lines and spark plugs on it as they were getting old.

My problem is this... From 0-15 MPH the sled has great power. As soon as I gain speed it just doesn't have any power....

I have not dug into it other than fuel flow and it really isn't effecting it.

I tore it all down last night and put new gaskets in! Works perfect again! Can't wait to get out and ride today!

gaskets in what? please do tell as it may help others. you had mentioned in the first post you had already done new gaskets. just curious as to what the problem may have been?
