What type of suspension would fit My SX 700, I want to swap it out for something lighter?
You can put in just about anything you like common ones are polaris skids and scIII if i recall
Are those skids really any lighter?? If you want more travel just put viper shocks in it.

We just swapped a 136 extended Pro Action with a SC10-III extended to 136. The weight savings is 12.3 lbs. Not a significant amount. However the initial test run shows a softer ride, and better weight transfer. This was into a 2002 Viper

Newer technology is newer technology. Both the scIII and edge skids were designed to be superior and they just plain work better right outa the box. Poo still uses an altered version of the edge in their new indy sleds. Its not the weight savings youl notice its the better ride and feel. Removing all unnessesary wheels off my edge was noticably lighter than the proaction.
