Well we finally got around to installing a SC10-III skid into the Viper. The install went very easy. Due to the height differances of the pro action and the Sc10, we utilized the drop brackets from CB, and rail extensions from SLP. (136") The rear mount is 4" aft of the OEM mount, the front mount is 25.375" forward of the rear mount. The initial test ride went great, however we only have a minimal amount of snow to ride on. More like grass riding. lol The ride height is slightly higher than OEM, but not overly high. Now we have to replace those ugly yellow idler wheels. I will get some photos once we replace the idlers.

Nice. I like hearing about people who actually work on their own stuff!

Should be able to just flip those idlers around so the black side is out.

The bearings are rough, The rear axle wheels are 6.5" I am going to upgrade to the 7.1" This sled has 8 tooth drivers, awesome torque down low, the skid is only 12.4 lbs lighter than the pro action. However I do believe the suspension is softer through the range. Time will tell.
