I have cleaned the flywheel ( rusty) and still no spark. The sled did have spark and not it don't. One of a week sitting in shop. I have a multi meter but don't know to check or what wires and what the Ohms should read. I have searched with no luck.

I know I should start at the wires coming from the stator but witch terminals. All ready unplugged the TORS and plugged it into it self, disconnected the kill switch.

I need to know the steps and what the Ohms should read. Or the volts when pulling it over.

Well I checked continuity for the key switch, kill switch, throttle switch and they all seem to check out. I unplugged the relay up by the CDI with the red, blue, brown and the brown /white and no spark. So then I checked the Ohms coming out of the 3 prong triangle plug and got a reading of .6 Ohms. So than I checked the 2 pin plug white/red and white/green and got a reading of 192. Not sure if it is enough or not. So than I checked continuity at the coils and the orange wire. I found the orange wire was BAD all the way to the 4 pin plug, so I replaced everything from the coils up to the plug including the plug. STILL NOTHING I will check for continuity from the pick up wires to the CDI and down to the coils next.

From reading the info on the link above I should have at least 1volt coming from the coil pick up and the same up at the CDI box and on down to the coils themselves.

Are the Ohms that I am reading coming from the stator and coil pick up right. Anything else I can check ???????

I have looked for a FREE manual to down load but can't seem to find one.

Well I checked the volts coming out of the coil pick up and I got 1.8, kinda hard to read but I did see some #'s in the 3's. I'll be checking the wires from there to the CDI and down to the cols, than out to the headlight.

Update-- Checked all of the wires to and from the stator and Coil pick up to CDI and everything checks out. Checked all wires under motor and around handle bar loop, checked wires from CDI down to the front of sled and up to the headlight.

So are my readings any good coming from the coil pic up and volts coming out of it ??? Is there a way to check the CDI box ????

do you have varying voltage coming from the pick up coil wires when pulling it over?

if you do... do you have the same voltage with p/u coil wires hooked back up and checked at the entrance of the cdi box while pulling it over?

do you have even more voltage coming out of the cdi box while pulling it over on the orange wire going to the coil pack?

yes on the first question, I will have to check on the other 2. I did have continuity on them up to the CDI box and from the box plug down. I will check and report back.

yes also on 2- wires hooked back up and tested at the plug

Than tried plugging the CDI back in and really couldn't get a reading right out of the box, Plugged the CDI back in and I tried them down by the coils and again really couldn't get a reading.

So could it be the CDI ???
