Does anybody know if carbs off of a 700 SRV 1999 will work on a 2000 SRX 700 and vice versa? Besides the jetting, anything else to be concerned about?

98-99 carbs are the same specs as 2000-02 however the 2000-02 srx require the throttle position sensor which is mounted on the end of the rack so thats what makes them NOT interchange.
Thanks. So just to confirm, I can put 2000 SRX carbs on a 1999 SRV 700?

Sorry 1999 VMAX. I have 2000 SRX carbs and I want to put them in a 1999 Vmax 700 but keep the Vmax jetting.

it wont be the same as i answered in your other thread, the needles, needle jets and slide cutaways are differnt between them, so the calibration will be all differnt, it(redhead 700 engine) will run richer with the srx carbs on it requiring you to go thru all 3 circuits to tune it in.
