02 viper 700 engine light flashes when hand warmers are turned on

Hey guys my buddy just bought a 02 viper and runs great seems to be a really nice sled i rememeber with the srx when it was started the light would flash a couple of times when it was first started for the powervalves to do a test check or something his viper when the hand warmers are turned on the light flashes constantly any clues??
