Does anyone have any info or know how to duplicate the factory gold plating I used aluminum acid on my motor and carbs and it turned all the plated pieces to rust

You could paint them for now then send them to an electroplating company in the off season to have replated.

Do a search for Zink Chromate. Alodine is for aluminum only.

Google Atlantic Carburetor in New York. They do my Holley carbs to like new condition.

Also try Mid state Plating in Flint Michigan
