should lights come on while pulling sled over

Just wondering if the lights will light up at all while pulling the engine over or do they only light up after engine is running? This is for a 2000 srx.

I don't believe so, load control relay is supposed to divert all power to ignition system until sled starts.

Sometimes when the temp is really low the engine will start but the lights and gauges will not work for a few minutes then they come on. Has been doing this since new..
