Help Please on removal of heat exchanger

I am having trouble removing my heat exchanger on my 2002 vmax700. I have a hole I need to get welded. I have removed all the rivets, I think but still cannot get it to drop. Is th bold that holds suspension/bogey wheel restricting it? Thanks very much! Niel

Once the rivets are drilled out you may need to make sure they are all punched out. If you leave the centers in it can hang you up. Otherwise start at an edge with a small pry bar and work the edges. You'll see if you missed one. Not a fun job even if its just a chassis.
