My 1986 Bravo suspension goes down the full two inches of travel when you sit on it, but it only comes up about 1/2 inch when you get off. I have greased every single part. Would the shock cause this, or do you think the rear springs have gone soft? All parts are 28 years old. Thanks.

You could try a new shock and springs in it....or if theres nylon adjusters in it, try rotating them to stiffen it up a bit...might help with the rebound a bit. But they are old, my buddies 88 enticer is like that.just needs ridin more often!

The nylon adjusters can be moved up to the upper hole which should put more tension on the spring. I will try that first. I just don't want to spend money needlessly. If that doesn't work, I suspect I will have to change shock first, no improvement, then new springs. Thanks for the help.
