I've never had a sled with exhaust temp gauges but i can see where they could be a good thing with these exciter 570 motors to prevent meltdowns etc . i have twin psi pipes and think there was a little motor work done before i got it. what would be normal everyday trail riding temps to be expected.

aaen page says 1100-1300F but mine likes 1300-1400F with psi twins, best to get plugs to read good and see what the guage says then keep an eye on it

Probe placement in the pipes, among other variables, will make you see different egt values on the gauge. It's best to stay "fat" or "rich", work your way down in jetting (safe) while checking your plugs and pistons for condition. Once your plugs/pistons look good and the motor responds properly then the values you see on the gauge become your "target" temps for that day and weather conditions.
