I was wondering if any one knows I would gain anything by Installing V Force reeds and SRX Carbs on a V Max SX 700??? I have a SRX 700 triple for parts and i was wondering what parts would be compatible with my Sled???

youd gain nothing, as a matter of fact you would likey go backwards as the srx and the sx carbs are the same 33mm size but are calibrated differntly and the srx carbs are set up leaner then the sx carbs in the slides.
You could install reeds into the sx engine from the srx if they fit into the case and just use your sx carbs. It will make the throttle response a tad crisper,no big power gain though.
the srx and the sx engine are not interchangeable for parts, they are completely differnt.

Most people on here will tell you to go with the stock reeds rather than the aftermarket.........
Between me and my friends we have bought 9 srxs/vipers...of those 9, 3 of them had v force reeds when we bought them and all 3 had chipped pedals....v force reds don't hold up. I don't like the idea of reed pieces getting sucked into a motor.
The risk is no where near the reward.
