The stock piston is no longer available and I can't find a set of after market pistons. The stock piston for the 92 enticer is available. does anyone know if the 92 enticer II pistons will work in the 89 enticer 400. I saw somewhere that both of these engines are 408 cc. was there any changes to the motor or just the chassis. Thanks, Jim
aftermarket says they are the same pistons....

I have both motors and recently rebuilt the 89 ET400. The 89 engine was an 85T series and the 92 was an 8X9. The cylinders, crankcase and crankshafts are different and definitely not interchangeable between the models but I believe the pistons are.
I had a blown crank on the 89 and a good crank/case from an 82 and was trying to swap over the later series crank and crankcase but the outside of the cylinder skirts are a different diameter and they did not fit. I may still have a couple of stock used pistons.
