I was wondering If I would add any power By jetting my Carbs and adding a Sno Stuff Rumble pack to My 98 VMax SX 700, I know if you just add the rumble pack you will lose power, Im not trying to make her a race sled but I would like a little more grunt at lower end, Any information would help, or if you guys know any otehr easy ways to open up that 700 red head would be nice, thanks

I can tell you that the Rumble pack sounds really good on the SX 700 as I have a 99 SX 700 that I just got on a trade and it has one on there. You should gain at least a few hp based on the fact that the rumble pack should be less restrictive therefore giving a small hp gain but I'm not positive on that. If you do some searching you might be able to find some more info on it.

If your wanting more low end, spend your quid on gears for starters. Stock is 23/40. What is your riding habits? Need % of trail, powder & WOT riding. I know the Rumble packs sound cool and all, but that's what they are only good for. Two inch bore the stock can for a very nice tone.
