quick help!!! lower gear SRV

Hey, hoping someone posts quickly!

Assembling my SRV, the lower gear has about 1/8" side to side play....is this normal?

There are no more spacers...everything is in place.

I tightened up the clutch side already...

I think that lower gear on the SRV floated against the washer and nut..

This 91 SRV has NEVER been apart. Aside from one new idler wheel, it has the original track.

I've changed every bearing, some bushings, a shaft, hammered out shafts, used a puller for wheels, you name it I've had to do it!

4500 miles or so on it.

Original wood under the seat....once the seat was off and the wood dried, it was done, so new wood.
