Hi guys, new here to the forum. had a question, just bought a 1998 srx 700 couple weeks ago. i notice a little bit of play on the secondary clutch. end up finding out the drive shaft sprocket nut in the gear box, im gonna be replacing the seals on the gear box and i notice theres no lock washer or lock collar behind the nut that holds the sprocket onto the drive shaft. im guessing i have to use some lock tight on the threads of the shaft? i also wanted to ask if theres a torque spec for the sprockets? thanks and hope to hear back

Yes, use lock tight on that lower sprocket bolt.

There is a washer behing the nut on the upper sprocket, torque for the nut is 43 ft lbs no loctite needed there. there is a bolt and washer for the bottom sprocket use loctite on the bolt, torque is 35 ft lbs.
