i hope someone can help me.i am setting up suspention on a 2003 viper.i have watched the pro action video and this only goes up to 2002,without the adjustable transfer rods.so do you set the rods to the middle(number 2)line,then adjust the sag(having someone sit on the sled, and measuring both sides of the transfer rod)?then you can fine tune it by adjusting the transfer rod?also my sled has a thicker washer on the bottom then the one on the top,is this correct?shouldn't they be the same?
The washer doesnt matter as much if you have adjustable rods unless you have the bigger one..... I would start in the middle and get that gap almost the same on the top and the bottom. If you put less washer on the bottom it will allow the skid to come out a little further when you crank the spring up....Once the set in is asjust then adjust the gap on the top for more or less transfer.

i would refresh/rebuild the shocks in the skid 1st if they have not been done recently. you would be suprised at the difference that makes alone. odds are the nitrogen charge is gone. i had some done this summer that my guy only measured like 10 lb of pressure. supposed to be over 200lb of charge.
