My bud has just got a hauck head gasket and reed spacers on his 2001 MM. It's gonna overrev. When I tried it, before the mods, it would pull 8600-8700, are there enough heavy rivets out there to bring the rpm down to 8400 with the stock weights and helix? what springs can be used to bring it down? thanks

If its still set-up the way it came from the factory that thing has to run like crap. Out of the crate they are clutched for 6000 feet and jetted for sea level. I guess the simple answer here is, Yes, you will be able to bring the R's down with heaver rivits. ===SRXSRULE===
