Does anyone know what might be causing my enticer to be unsteerable when temp. drops below minus 15 ? the colder it is the worse it gets ,there is no snow or ice under the cab ,it is so bad you cannot turn the handle bars !

In the early 2000s I noticed a new VK540III at the local dealer had a grease nipple installed from the factory on the strut steering knuckle. So I drilled a 1/4 hole in the same location(not too deep, just enough to reach the pocket),tapped it,and installed grease fittings on my fathers 1996 ET410II.The results were no more frozen steering, even on the coldest mornings.
