Is their any way to make the sensor setup work in the SRX, with the stock gauge? I know some guys have put the viper speedo and all on their srx... cant find any info or writeup on how to do it and really not sure how the viper speedo works ...

search through my posts. you can also use rx1 gauges
So I guess theirs no way keeping the stock gauges with a speed sensor instead? Im tired of the needle breaking ... I changed the bearing last year and put in a needle and it broke 40km later ... Im going to try again with a new bearing and a new needle ... but what a pain...

Needle shouldn't keep breaking, these usually last for years, if not decades, as long as the bearing is good. Did the new bearing go bad already? If not, I'd look elsewhere for the problem. Does the needle spin the right-angle drive unit freely, all the way up to the speedometer? Might want to remove each part in the system and test for free spinning: Speedometer, Cable, and Right angle drive unit
Speedometers are usually fine, but the cables and drive units can have problems especially if a clutch or belt blew up at some point since the sled was new.
Good luck.

Really, that's good to know then... I will check the bearing and replace it... its not that much anyways. Then ill do as you said and check everything else.
Thanks!
