Hi all, I have a 1999 SX Vmax and recently picked up a Garmin Nuvi 52LM GPS and am looking for a good mount to put it on the sled. What do you recommend? I'm looking for one that encloses the unit, but doesn't necessarily have to be waterproof. Any suggestions? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to take a minute to update my previous post. I got to tinker with this setup a little. I think strapping this leg mount to the foam handlebar pad is going to be very effective when the trails get rough...it seems like it will absorb a good bit of the shock. The ball and socket with the ram mount will not be sufficient out of the box, it does not clamp tight enough and will surely go limp as soon as you hit the first bump. I took a hacksaw blade and lengthened and widened the clamping slot. I also drilled out the screw hole for the clamp and replaced the ineffective screw with a through bolt/nut so that I could place sufficient clamping force to clamp. It is rock solid now. Will be testing the setup next weekend. It is not as clean of an install as I would like, but I think it will prove to be very effective.

I just bought a ram leg mount. Easily straps to handle bar pad. .. I love how simply it mounts, not so sure about the ball and socket part though. http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server6...M_L1_SB1U__37395.1410172925.1280.1280.jpg?c=2

I have been looking for something like this, I'm just not sure how it'll work with my GPS and ppossiby with a device-enclosing case.
