I'm trying to put Maximum Performance transfer rods on our 04' ViperS.
My question relates to the large upper rear idler wheels that the top portion of the tranfer rods slips over.
Do these wheels just get pulled off with a wheel puller?
I don't see any circlips hoplding them on?
Thanks,
Bob

I believe they are pressed on. Then again I've never had a no action skid under my sled.

Anyone else have any suggestions?
I even borrowed a large puller from Napa and all that did was want to pull the rubber off of the wheel.
As much as I hate to do it I guess it's off to a dealer...

See if there is a large circlip on the inside of the wheel. If there is, remove it. You should then be
able to pull the wheel off the bearing. Then you can use the the puller to remove the bearing.

x2 on what keith said. that is why i always put those wheels on snapring to the inside as you usually have this problem every time you go to do those bearings.
