I'm trying to get my fathers 03 RX1 running again. I've cleaned the carbs 4 times and drained the fuel tank and put new fuel in. Ive also replaced a couple of the fuel lines with the OEM replacements. It's running great until I hit 7000 rpm's and then it bogs down. Almost like its flooding out. It's like there's a governer on it. I'm down in Vegas so not sure if it's because I'm at lower altitude? Any suggestions would help! Seeing how there aren't any sled shops in Las Vegas!

Does it have a choke.
Could be you have the engine running well and the clutches are binding or something. Like he said, try TY4STROKE.com. They will have an entire section just for the RX1.

have you checked the coils in the dark with the rubbers removed? sometimes they need to be cleaned because of carbon from arcing.
