How often do you guys clean powervalves?

Hey fellas..just as the title states, how often are you guys cleaning your powervalves. I use amsoil interceptor, and I used to clean them at the start of every winter. Last year my valves seemed pretty clean. I might start cleaning them every 2nd season. I also seem to rip at least one gasket while doing it. How often do you guys do your valves?

Kind of depends on how many miles were put on the previous season but I usually clean mine when I do my pre season maintenance.

I run interceptor as well. I have 4 SRX's (and a Viper and SxR) so each one doesn't see a lot of miles per year. The more often you clean them the easier the actual cleaning is. I have a spare set of 700 valves and just swap them out and then take my sweet time cleaning them.

I don't believe I ever cleaned mine. I use that oil also. Maybe I'll check them. They looked good last time apart. I did spray carb cleaner on them but I don't think thats what you meant.

I find my valves on my SRX need cleaning every 1000 miles or so.

I always clean mine in the fall when I'm cleaning the carbs.

Usually twice a season for me. Depends on miles though.

I would be pulling them out every pre-season at the minimum, no matter what oil I used, just to keep an eye on the condition of the valves.

I clean mine every year when i do my carbs but they never seem to need it but my ocd makes me do it...
