I have this posted at the end of another thread but got no response so I figured I would try it under a new post. I recently installed a new 1.22 x 136" ice attack on my 03 viper. It rubs on the tunnel protectors and front heat exchanger protectors. Should I remove the tunnel and heat exchanger protectors or trim the track ? Running 9 tooth drivers tracks usa extensions. Any advise would be appreciated.

About 4 times up the road.

i would trim it, with it rubbing it can loosen the exchanger protectors

Had a friend buy a viper with a 1.25in track on it awhile back. The owner before him never trimmed the track. Looked at the sled closer one day to find the front exchanger protectors had holes worn into them from the track rubbing them. So it's a good thing you trimmed it!;)!

the top of them is just a shank that sits in a hole in the tunnel, the vibration elongates the hole and pops the rivets on the bottom.
