I have a power valve that will not come out of the cylinder, it is broke the round part of it is sheared, the valve is in there and moves back and forth a little, maybe a sixteenth, I have went as far as carefully drilling and tapping putting a bolt in it, no way, I searched posts and have come up empty, pulling the jug tomorrow, I have seen stuck dirty pull through, what's going on with this !!

Maybe if you turn motor back and forth some it might give enough room to clear.
sounds like you have a very badly carboned up p/v. I personally would pull the cylinder to avoid busting off pieces of carbon, and into the cylinder

after pulling the cylinder I could see this has been broke for a very long time, years !! The valve was broke off at the base of the stem and after years of running, it mushroomed everything together, I cleaned it up a little and was able to slowly tap it out with a homemade tool, There was almost no carbon build on all three, and when I pulled the carbs they were clean, A Woman owned this sled for the past 12 years, she rode it slow and never even noticed, It started ran fine, we all know the performance was not there. It is about the most original SRX I have ever worked on, every washer clip spring was correct, most everything I took apart seemed factory !!! What's her secret !!

yep, it ran no reason to mess with it, likely never ran it hard enough to notice the power loss...lol
