Hey looking for some help with my crappy hand warmers. My sled has a add on setup with a 3 way toggle switch and 2 or 3 porcelin resistors wired in. Looks like green and blue wires go up to the bars. The previous owner had them unhooked saying that it has a Yamaheater and they tend to burn out the elements. He hooked up the factory wires and said it worked fine. It has never had good heat since I've had it for 3 years. Isn't there a box or control module I should be seeing if it has the Yamaheaters? I hooked up the wires from the add on warmers and I have nothing at the grips, no heat. I do need to check the basic power and ground with my meter yet tho. Is this worth my time or should I get a different setup? My friend put an RSI kit on his 2010 Nytro and said it worked great and was tied in with the factory adjustment switches on the bars. Looking for the best way to go without spending a ton but warm hands are priceless! Thanks for any advice, Ryan.
Yes it should have a black box tired into the bar heaters. I would bet it does not have Yamahaheaters. You can call Rockmeister and he will help you find the problem.

Thanks Mr. Sled for responding. I'm gonna check power and ground tonight and may have to get ahold of Rock.
