Just bought a 02 viper and I love the power and handling, but I hate the suspension and seating position.
So I've read the sc3 will work in the viper. And the Polaris prox2/proxr seat works. I can't find one of those though. Will a pro rmk seat work? What work is involved with the sc3 swap? Thanks for the help in advance

get a boss seat, the difference is absolutely night and day I just put one on my SRX and love the new positioning. now I can ride with my feet below my butt and let my legs absorb some of the blows. went riding this past weekend, I would occasionally switch to some of the others proaction sleds with stock seats and could barely stand it after riding the boss. personally I think I would rather spend the money on a boss then upgrade the rear suspension.

Alright thanks. Either way I planned on swapping the suspension out for a more aggressive style. But I will definitely consider the boss seat.

Is a 2 inch handlebar riser good enough for the extra height of the boss seat?

Ya I want to see them I'm in eau claire and I need something done to my srx seat and he's very closr

+1 for Boss Seats, I love mine no more sore knees. Being 6'3" with the OEM seat was a B!T$#. Also someone said the seat was too hard, you can actually pick from 3 levels of seat firmness when you order. Also the sled looks so much better now with the boss seat.

I picked the softest foam too. Im not sure if the new owners are using different foam or what the deal was. It was harder that stock. I even gave it time to break in. still hard... The seat itself was VERY nice. Good fit and finish. Tons of storage. Good material. I just couldn't do the hard foam. Long story short, I was in the hospital for 5 weeks because of the seat... There' more to it than "hay this seat put me in the hospital", but it was the start of it... Great seats, hard foam. That is why I went to a custom seat... (which I STILL didn't get pics of)

I put a Nytro seat on my SRX. This, coupled with a Mono rear suspension changed the sled dramatically. The new seating position almost makes you feel like your riding a Grizzly ATV!

typically a firm seat is much better for long rides. I know my Corbin seat for my motorcycle is rock hard compared to the stock seat but I can ride it a heck of a lot further than I could even dream about riding the stock Seat. Jd you are the first person I've ever heard not liking a boss seat.

2009 iq dragon seat. Made a support bracket that sits in the middle of the seat. Also got an led tail light. All in total, cost me about 200$. 6 pack included.

We have Boss seats on all of our sleds. Typically we ride 100 to 300 miles per day. Last week we rode just over 648 miles, the seats just feel great. Ya, they are firm, but that is what makes them feel great at the end of the day. The higher riding position helps in the trasition from left to right in off trail also. I will try to post a few pics.
