Kal-Haven trail has around 6" near Kalamazoo. I would imagine that it will get deeper near the lakeshore.
The UP has good snow, especially up around Houghton, was just there last weekend awesome riding!

Brad,
Some trails go south to Lawton and beyond (go to Big T's if you go through Lawton...good food/bar) and other trails go north to Allegan and beyond....Gun Lake etc. Lots of farm fields so the deeper the snow the better.
I primarilly ride the Kal-Haven from Kazoo to South Haven and back..around 75 miles or so total....it's an old railroad grade that has a bunch of stops and starts (perfect for the Vmax4....lots of launches
Keep in mind that it's not the U.P. of Michigan but it's close so it's good enough for a little ride once in a while..
